Vision in Action Cameroon (VIAC) is a youth-led not-for-profit organization that supports and enables adolescents and young women (AGYW) and communities in programs and influences change in the areas of Research (Evidence Generation), Advocacy (community mobilization), information & communication.
VIAC is committed to feminist principles, using gender transformative and rights-based approaches. At VIAC, we believe that reproductive Health is a fundamental human right of every woman and man throughout her/his life cycle.

To improve sexual and reproductive health rights for adolescent girls and young women in Cameroon through a cohesive program of empowerment, advocacy, creative activism, research and development.

What We Do

Gender Justice:
In this program, we aim to end discrimination, inequality and violence by ensuring equal access to SRH services.

VIAC emlpoys collaboration accross multiple sectors and stakeholders that play a role in promoting sexual and reproductive health, rights and justices.

Through our comprehensive and inclusive advocacy programs, we strive to create a more equitable society where everyone has access to the information and services they need to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive

VIAC uses invovation and communication tools to promote active community involvement, rise awearness and amplify the voices of AGYW and sexual minorites to promote access to sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice.
Research
At VIAC, our Research Program plays a critical role in advancing sexual and reproductive health rights. Through evidence-based advocacy, needs assessments, and monitoring and evaluation, we ensure our efforts are informed by data and responsive to community needs.

GET INVOLVED
Volunteers provide a constant flow of new energy and innovative ideas and help the organization to move forward and achieve its Mission, vision and goals. Volunteers participate in every aspect of VIAC operations. So volunteering with VIAC is one way to make the difference. Our diversity, cultures, and environment are some opportunities that come with volunteering with VIAC.
We seek to mobilize the expertise, capacity and knowledge of NGOs in a wide variety of ways to achieve our development objectives, contribute to host government and national priorities and advance community development. We work with international and local NGOs and their networks to support in-country programs and strengthen their capacity to achieve their missions.

Increasing Advocacy Services for Adolescent Girls and Young Women.
Educating and empowering young women including those with disability, help them to stand up for their rights and advocate for change in major areas of their life. Vision in Action Cameroon (VIAC) delivered a two days training from November 12 and 13, 2021 on advocacy and communication skills for Adolescent girls and Young Women with disabilities.
