We believe that meaningful change begins with evidence. To strengthen evidence-based programming and improve the impact of our interventions, Vision In Action Cameroon convened a one-day Foundations of Research in NGOs capacity-building training on 24 July 2026 at our headquarters in Buea.
The training brought together 19 participants, including VIAC staff, volunteers, interns, and representatives from the Cameroon Union Association of Persons with Disabilities (CUAPWD), reflecting our commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning. Through practical sessions on research design, data collection, ethics, analysis, and reporting, participants gained the skills needed to generate credible evidence that informs programming, advocacy, fundraising, and decision-making.
This initiative marks another step toward VIAC's vision of becoming a research-informed organization that leverages data and evidence to improve sexual and reproductive health, disability inclusion, youth empowerment, community health, and social development outcomes.
