Pharmacists, as drug therapy experts, provide drug therapy management services based on a collaboration between the pharmacist, the patient, physicians, and other members of the patient's health care team; thus, their absence can result in high morbidity and mortality if drug therapy is not observed. Community pharmacy services are being used more for treatment of illnesses associated with stigma. In Cameroon abortion laws is restrictive and abortion seekers turn to pharmacist for abortion care. This study assesses the knowledge and practices of pharmacist on medical abortion following the World Health Organization (WHO) protocol for self-managed abortion.
