Our Strategic Focus
Vision in Action Cameroon (VIAC) is a youth-led, feminist, non-profit organisation working with adolescent girls, young women and their communities across Cameroon. We work to advance gender equality and human rights, with sexual and reproductive health and rights at the centre.
Our work is organised into eight programme areas, delivered through research, advocacy, creative communication and community programmes, and guided by seven principles that shape how we work.

01Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
Our flagship programme improves access to SRHR information and services, particularly for adolescents, young people, adolescent girls and young women (AGYW).

03Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response
We work with communities to prevent gender-based violence and to make sure survivors get support.

04Menstrual Health and Dignity
We promote menstrual health management so that no girl misses school or opportunity because of her period.

Rights-based
Programmes built on human rights, bodily autonomy, gender equality and reproductive justice, with inclusive, stigma-free service delivery.
Feminist
Grounded in feminist principles: changing unequal power relations and supporting the leadership and agency of women and girls.
Youth-centred
Young people are partners in designing and running our programmes, not just beneficiaries.

GET INVOLVED
Volunteers provide a constant flow of new energy and innovative ideas and help the organization to move forward and achieve its Mission, vision and goals. Volunteers participate in every aspect of VIAC operations. So volunteering with VIAC is one way to make the difference. Our diversity, cultures, and environment are some opportunities that come with volunteering with VIAC.
We seek to mobilize the expertise, capacity and knowledge of NGOs in a wide variety of ways to achieve our development objectives, contribute to host government and national priorities and advance community development. We work with international and local NGOs and their networks to support in-country programs and strengthen their capacity to achieve their missions.
