About the Role
The Programs Officer will play a central role in supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all organizational programs. The selected candidate will work closely with the Finance and Administration Department to ensure compliance with organizational procedures, donor requirements, and effective resource utilization.

The officer will also work directly under the supervision of the Executive Director, contributing to strategic planning, program oversight, and documentation.

Capacity Building & Mentorship
We are committed to your growth. The selected candidate will undergo a structured 3–6-month capacity-building and mentorship program, which will include:

  • Hands-on training in program management
  • Shadowing and guided practical experience
  • Technical support in reporting and documentation
  • Strengthening stakeholder engagement skills
  • Training on compliance and donor requirements

CALL FOR RESEARCH VOLUNTEERS

Are you passionate about research, evidence generation, and advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)? We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Volunteer SRHR Research Volunteers.

About the Role
SRHR Research Volunteers will support the design, implementation, and documentation of research and learning activities within the organization. This includes contributing to data collection, analysis, and reporting that informs programs, advocacy, and policy engagement.

Volunteers will work closely with the Research Officer, receiving guidance and technical support, while also collaborating with the Programs team. They will contribute to building a strong evidence base for impactful SRHR interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support research design and tool development (surveys, interview guides, etc.)
  • Assist in data collection (fieldwork, interviews, focus groups, digital surveys)
  • Contribute to data entry, cleaning, and basic analysis
  • Support report writing, documentation, and knowledge products
  • Participate in learning sessions and team reflections

Capacity Building & Mentorship
Selected volunteers will benefit from a structured 3–6 month capacity-building and mentorship program, including:

  • Practical training in SRHR research methods
  • Hands-on experience in field and desk research
  • Mentorship from the Research Officer on data analysis and report writing
  • Exposure to ethical considerations and research compliance
  • Opportunities to contribute to publications and advocacy outputs

Who We Are Looking For

  • Have a strong interest in SRHR, public health, social sciences, or related fields
  • Are curious, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Have basic research, writing, or data skills (an added advantage)
