Vision in Action Cameroon (VIAC) remains committed to ensuring that all programs, staff, volunteers, partners, and community stakeholders uphold the highest standards of protection, safeguarding, countability, and ethical conduct.

Throughout 2026, VIAC will be implementing a series of annual protection trainings aimed at strengthening knowledge and practical application of protection principles across organizational operations and community interventions.

The first training at the beginning of the year focused on safeguarding, confidentiality, survivor-centered approaches, prevention of harm, safe referrals, child and vulnerable adult protection, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), accountability to affected populations, and the “Do No Harm” principle.

Participants included VIAC personnel, volunteers, partner organizations, community mobilizers, health providers, peer educators, and other stakeholders engaged in community development and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) programming1. Download to read more…
